Automorphic forms for the commutator subgroup

Part of the Modern Birkhäuser Classics book series (MBC)

The commutator subgroup of the full modular group is the last case to which we apply the theory of Part I. It is chosen as an example of a group of positive genus. The fact that the completion X of Γcom\H is an elliptic curve gives additional structure, not present for the groups Γmod and Γ θ of genus 0. Apart from giving examples for Part I, this chapter discusses some new aspects as well.
