Routing and network dynamics

  • Chapter
NS Simulator for Beginners

Abstract

We shall review in this chapter both unicast and multicast routing. Routing protocols that fix a permanent route (static routing) will be compared to dynamic routing. The influence of dynamic connectivity on the routing will be examined. A good reference for routing over the Internet is [35].
