Abstract

Testing of the vulcanizates produced during production is essential, as we need to prove that the finished products meet the parameters envisaged at the design stage, using objective metrics and methods. This chapter aims to provide some guidance on what these measurable physical properties are, and what test methods and standards exist to determine them.
