Abstract
This chapter presents a basic chemical understanding of vulcanisation and discusses possible analysis of the time course of vulcanisation, its evaluation and metrics. After studying this section, the reader will be oriented to the notion of abbreviations used in the application of rheometers and the underlying physical content.
