Abstract
This chapter is organized by themes rather than authors. This choice is because feminist theorists conceive sociological theory as a tool to change society by focusing on some issues that block its change.
The text will provide an overview of fourteen feminist theorists: Friedan, Chodorow, Harding, Smith, Butler, de Beauvoir, Rubin, Mitchell, Haraway, bell hooks, Patricia Hill Collins, Davis, Crenshaw, and de Lauretis.
