Abstract
This descriptive study reports norms for team process and outcome measures for various populations. We collected the data using the Comprehensive Assessment of Team-Member Effectiveness (CATME) Team Tools system. We observed gender differences for Task Conflict and Psychological Safety with small effect sizes. We observed differences on multiple team process variables with a range of effect sizes based on reported race/ethnicity, with some effect sizes approaching moderate (dā>ā0.5). We discuss possible explanations for systematic differences, but report no evidence that can support any particular explanation. Instructors should know that such differences exist to consider how those differences might affect their interpretation of peer evaluation data.
