Abstract

We introduce the reader to Gerold Riempp and his family. They were a big inspiration for Ben on his journey and helped him solidify his own thoughts around these diseases through their tireless pursuit to try and treat Gerold. This culminates in Gerold getting DBS in 2022, we briefly mention the benefits he experienced thereafter.
