Abstract

This chapter presents the problem definition and research objectives for food business operators engaged in precision fermentation. It presents the book’s structure and methodology. Additionally, it outlines the interview process and addresses the significant limitations in precision fermentation research. Towards the end of the chapter, it discusses the applicable legal framework and presents commonly used definitions.
