Abstract

The engineering dependencies to calculate the theoretical stress concentration factor at a cruciform welded joint are analyzed. Based on the comparison of the dependences under consideration with the results of studies of cruciform welded joints by the finite element method, formulas that best determine the theoretical stress concentration factor are established.
