Abstract
Forced labour, labour exploitation and debt bondage are forms of modern-day slavery. They incorporate aspects of the exploitation of an individual for the profit of the perpetrator. We looked at how to spot the signs of modern-day slavery and how to tackle these specific forms of modern-day slavery, focusing on the healthcare setting.
