Abstract
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a prevalent disease. Although most patients are adequately treated with medication, some will eventually require antireflux surgery. The robotic platform offers significant technical advantages over laparoscopy that help obtaining optimal surgical outcomes.
