Abstract
Grants fund research projects developed by Emergency Medicine researchers. Obtaining grants is a competitive process requiring specific learned skills that are unique from other scientific writing. Grant writing is intended to persuade the funding agency to fund a project based on the research idea(s), the scientific methodology surrounding them, and the originality and innovation of the project.
