Abstract
Hopefully, everyone will have the opportunity to retire after a fulfilling career. However, a comfortable retirement requires building a solid financial foundation to support that retirement. Starting with an estimate of the income required to support your ideal retirement and its duration, a plan to accumulate the required wealth and its distribution is necessary. This chapter discusses basic retirement financial principles.
