Abstract

Assessment became a difficult issue between 2020 and 2021 due to the safety measures during the pandemic. In fact, during the crises coming up with new assessment systems became the cornerstone of education in many countries. This chapter addresses how assessment was done during that period and makes clear that assessment is capital for education. This paper analyzes current literature in the topic and concludes that significant advances have been done due to the pandemic especially in new forms of assessment and the use of technology for such purposes.
