Abstract
Photodynamic therapy (PDT), Fluorescence and Photobiomodulation (PBM) are modern methods of light-based treating ulcers of various origins.
The physical principles of its functioning are now well known and the field of application is expanding, always providing new possibilities.
The advantages are numerous and range from the relative ease of use, to the absence of pain during application, from the shortness of the sessions to almost no waste production, which translates into significant environmental and economic benefits.
