Abstract
Sciatic hernia (AKA sacrosciatic hernia, ischiatic hernia, gluteal hernia, hernia incisura ischiadica, or ischiocele) is one of the rarest types of hernia in the body with less than 120 cases reported in the literature since Papen first described it in 1750.
