Abstract
The outbreak of the COVID-19 disease has presented novel challenges to the research community, which is rushing towards the delivery of results, pushed by the intent of rapidly mitigating the pandemic effects. During these times, we observe the production of an exorbitant amount of data, often associated with a poor quality of describing information, sometimes generated by insufficiently tested or not peer-reviewed efforts. But we also observe contradictions in published literature, as it is typical of a disease that is still in its infancy, and thus only partially understood.
