Abstract

Adaptive sports have been present for many centuries; however, it was not until recent years that it has dramatically caught the attention of the general public through the growing popularity of recreational leagues and the Paralympic Games. Adaptive sports are for people of various disabilities that can range from the maintenance of health to the participation in elite sports.
