Calculation Method for Plastic Dynamic Response of Hull Grillage in Underwater Explosion

Abstract

The plastic dynamic response of hull grillage in underwater explosion is the elementary aspect of anti-explosion performance research. In view of diversity of hull grillage structure and complexity of numerical algorithms, a rigid-plastic mechanical model of cross beam for the hull grillage, composed of stiffeners with different longitudinal and transverse stiffness is proposed in this paper. The calculation method of the hull grillage deformation in this model is formed through the theorem of the momentum and momentum moment, where interaction force on the correlation place of the transverse and longitudinal member is taken into account. The test results of stiffened plate and the numberial results of ship cabin are used to verify the correctness of the calculation method, and the error is within 20%, which indicates that using this calculation method, the deformation of typical hull structure in underwater explosioncan has been predicted effectively.
