Abstract
Despite their low prevalence, vascular liver disorders represent a significant health issue. This chapter focuses mainly on thrombosis of large vessels, such as the portal vein. The role of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound are reviewed for portal vein thrombosis, along with brief data about epidemiology and etiopathogeny, diagnosis, and treatment.
