Abstract

Due to the emergence of the new coronavirus infectious disease, video call through teleconferencing systems is used for telework and telelearning in companies and educational institutions, respectively. Furthermore, communication using character avatars in the Metaverse space is gaining widespread popularity. On the other hand, it is difficult to accurately read nonverbal information such as line of sight and gestures in the aforementioned forms of tele- and virtual communication. Therefore, in this study, a Metaverse conference system using real-time video avatars is developed for formal situations.
