Der Status quo ist durch die Geschwindigkeit der Innovation und Mangel an Mitgefühl gekennzeichnet. Die Technologie entwickelt sich immer schneller, während das Leben und die Gesetzgebung hinterherhinken. Über reine Neugier und den Ehrgeiz, unsere Expertise zu erweitern, müssen wir unsere Unternehmungen auf das Wohl aller Menschen ausrichten. Jeder trägt eine Verantwortung für die Ursachen und Folgen des Fortschritts, einschließlich Ungleichheit und Missbrauch. Da wir alle der SITUATION ausgesetzt sind, können wir alle dazu beitragen, sie zu verbessern. Verantwortung bezieht sich nicht auf das Ergebnis unserer Bemühungen, sondern auf die Entscheidung, es zu versuchen. Sie bezieht sich auf Anstrengungen und die dahinterliegende Hoffnung.
