Abstract

This chapter draws on scholarship in psychology, history, law, political science and sociology to describe the nuanced ways in which safety is at stake in the lives of Black faculty and staff. It sets the stage for readers to explore how TU’s inattentiveness to safety undermined Wendy’s and Rossoce’s wellness, family stability and achievement.
