Abstract
There are many different types of threads and treatment options available for patients depending on their needs. This chapter will review the variety of treatment options and the appropriate corresponding counseling, preparation, and planning required for the patient. It will serve as a guide for how to create a treatment plan that will allow for optimal results, satisfaction, and comfort for the patient. Specific instructions regarding counseling for treatment with barbed threads for cheeks, jowls, and neck will be provided. Likewise, specific instructions regarding counseling for treatment of eyebrows and treatment of body areas will also be discussed.
