Abstract

As a science, ABA is data-driven and implemented to address socially significant behaviors. This chapter will highlight how to create a measurement system to evaluate the effects of a classroom system. Steps include developing an operational definition, setting goals, selecting a measurement system, charting the data, and determining if a change in behavior has occurred. This chapter aims to support your understanding and the importance of behavioral assessment in Chap. 3.
