Abstract

As a new communication field Innovation Communication can facilitate the flow of ideas, make innovative capabilities visible and inspire through exchange of thoughts and ideas with different people world-wide. Hence, managing innovation communication can represent a strategic capability to create (business) value through efficient communication management and smart innovation dialogues with stakeholder groups (strategic innovation management view). This chapter focuses on the importance of innovation communication and describes different approaches how to effectively communicate the New and prepare a ground for new ideas and changes in the digital communication age, which is crucial for (new) leaders and managers to help grow their companies.
