Abstract
This chapter lays out a blueprint for using the MSI-PRIx framework in practice. We discuss strategies to identify the most promising structural and behavioral mechanisms for the social problem at hand, by combining systems thinking with cognitive psychology techniques. We also discuss how hypotheses about these behavioral mechanisms can then be used to inform policy prototypes. The chapter illustrates how these strategies are applied in practice through a full-fledged example that showcases the iterative process through which hypotheses are formulated and tested.
