Behavioral Insights for Policy Design

Abstract

This book has laid out a new framework for diagnosing behavioral mechanisms behind wicked social problems. As we emphasized throughout the book, accurately diagnosing behavioral problems is at the heart of successful policies that can go the extra mile in addressing externalities and promoting social equality. This book is just a step into the fascinating journey that merges behavioral sciences and systems thinking. In this chapter, we summarize the discoveries we have made throughout this journey, and speculate about what the next steps might be.
