Surgery in Nose Vestibule Malignancies: The Reconstructive Phase

Malignancies of the Nasal Vestibule

Abstract

Surgical treatment of nose vestibule (NV) malignancies is usually the cause of more or less extensive mutilations of the nasal pyramid and adjacent facial units. Nose is a crucial aesthetic focus in the center of the face, with potentially critical social limitation in case of loss of a portion or total ablation. The structures of the nose are the most complex within the face to reconstruct. In this chapter, we discuss the reconstructive phase of after ablative surgery for NV tumors in case of limited, intermediate, and extensive resections.
