Abstract
The skin consists of two layers: epidermis and dermis and is supplied by vascular plexuses from deep perforating vessels. Infectious skin conditions range from cellulitis requiring antibiotics to necrotizing soft tissue infections that need emergent surgical intervention, broad-spectrum antibiotics, and complex reconstruction. Similarly, skin and soft tissue lesions vary from benign lesions to skin cancer as well as soft tissue sarcomas, each with their own details management guidelines.
