Modern Keratoplasty

Abstract

Ultrathin DSAEK combines the visual outcomes of DMEK with the technical ease of DSAEK. Similar to conventional DSAEK, ultrathin DSAEK can be more easily performed in all eyes with complex anatomy and poor anterior chamber visualization. Standardized graft preparation yields consistent graft quality, regularity, and thickness which in turn translates to excellent visual outcomes comparable with DMEK.
