Abstract

In this chapter, we will first discuss Catherine Malabou’s negative revision of psychoanalysis and neuroscience and expand on some of the crucial aspects of this revision. This will include incorporating Žižek’s attempt to, at the same time, side with Malabou and rehabilitate psychoanalysis from her revision. Being equipped with all this, we will attempt to broaden their negative framework to a general anthropological perspective. Additionally, as an experiment cruel perhaps but illustrative, we will discuss Malabou and Žižek themselves using their own conceptualisations of the living dead.
