This chapter discusses the role of business models as a catalyst for circular transformation. It starts with the conceptualization of circular business models before moving on to presenting several circular business model frameworks, as well as unifying strategies and circular economy principles. This chapter also outlines the enablers (or drivers) of and barriers to move towards circular business models.
