Abstract

This chapter will consider chronic inflammatory conditions that affect the nose and sinuses. The disorders will include specific and non-specific conditions and focus on those that are likely to be seen in ENT (ORL) clinical practice.

The similarity between granulomatosis with polyangiitis and cocaine-induced vasculitis will be described, and the differentiation explained. Cocaine induced is a relatively new drug-induced vasculitis and the pathogenesis will be reviewed.

The management of these disorders will be described, including reconstructive surgical options to correct the severe deformity.
