Abstract

The increasing of the network devices number could generate a massive traffic, which causes overloads of the edge network or core network due to the large number of requests per second. The Caching is one of network and telecommunications’ services that has several advantages for: ISPs, enterprise networks and Final users. This optimal caching system in hierarchical and multi-cache networks is an emerging challenge since it’s not easy due to its high computational complexity. So, our problem is related to the multi-objective optimization issues which we seek to optimize several parameters such as minimizing average distance ratio, content provider load and increasing content diversity. However, we suggest solving with the use of a pure-ordered approach of the GRASP meta-heuristic (Greedy Randomized Adaptive Search Procedure) and going to compare the results with the Pareto front’s solution under the LCE (leave copy everywhere) placement strategy to find the set of optimal cache distributions.
