Abstract

The research examines the characteristics and features of the noosphere model of ecological security of the region as a key component of sustainable development of the green economy. The research includes a substantial empirical experience of a large-scale longitudinal sociological study devoted to the noosphere model of ecological security of the region. This research was written as part of the projects: on 12 areas of strategic development established by Presidential Decree “On national goals and strategic development objectives of the Russian Federation until 2024” (May 7, 2018 No. 204), Presidential Decree “On the strategy for the development of information society in the Russian Federation for 2017–2030” (May 09, 2017 No. 203), and Presidential Decree “On the strategy of environmental security of the Russian Federation until 2025” (April 19, 2017 No. 176). The study of the conceptual model of the green economy is the main stage of the research on the ecological noosphere region. It represents the main stage of structuring and analyzing the changes that contribute to the effective development of the Russian economy and provide a mobile interaction between nature and society. At the current stage, the level of socio-ecological knowledge contributes to the possibility of defining today’s society as a socio-natural system, which regulates natural processes and covers the territorial forms of settlement, spheres of human life, socio-cultural values, social institutions, and activities of social communities. The authors focus on the research on the problems of the noosphere model as an imperative for sustainable development, as well as on the strategy of a prospective study of the concept of the green economy, which is contradictory in nature.
