Abstract

The relevance of this research is determined by the need to develop new scientific approaches to ensuring anti-crisis management of sustainable development of agricultural organizations from the perspective of harmonization of the fundamental components of social, environmental, and economic systems. The paper aims to identify the negative and problem areas of the industry based on the systemic analysis and comprehensive approach, as well as to determine the internal and external factors for sustainable development of enterprises in the agricultural industry. The authors consider indicators and trends of the sustainability of agricultural production, including those connected with increasing demands for environmentally friendly products, changing consumer preferences for agricultural products, and the increasing role of agricultural organizations of all organizational and legal forms as the basis of the economic link in the sustainable development of the Russian economy. The research is based on a systemic approach and general scientific and economic-statistical research methods. The theoretical and methodological basis includes the provisions of modern theories of economics and management of socio-economic systems and the results of scientific research by Russian and foreign scholars. The information base includes information and analytical materials from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation. The authors focus on the need to modernize the management mechanism for the sustainable development of agricultural organizations, considering changes in environmental factors and the environmental crisis to create conditions for the socio-economic well-being of rural residents, ensure economic development, and increase the competitiveness of agricultural producers, taking internal factors of development into account. The authors pay particular attention to the expediency and necessity of developing organic agriculture from a systemic approach as a strategic vector for ensuring food security in Russia and abroad. The research systematizes internal and external factors of the sustainable development of agricultural enterprises. The authors substantiate the necessity of combining the foreign state policy and the domestic policy of managing agricultural organizations, which will strengthen the positions of the agro-industrial complex in the Russian economy.
