Abstract

The introduction presents the purpose and the structure of the book. The book has been developed to become a valuable aid for people wishing to manage stress at work, whether before or after the onset of symptoms associated with it, whether personally or professionally. It is divided into five parts: (1) Stress description, (2) Stress assessment, (3) Using stress at work, (4) Macro description of stress and (5) Dealing with stress. A corollary objective is to make it clear to decision-makers in companies that managing stress at work implies the involvement of specialists.
