Abstract
Medical student and resident physician dermatology education has been influenced by teledermatology. The use of teledermatology and virtual education has since expanded since 2019 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. In this chapter, the development of virtual education materials and resources to foster dermatology education is discussed. Additionally, the use of teledermatology as a patient care provision tool and its role in medical education is investigated. Teledermatology remains a powerful tool to develop resident physician dermatology-related skills and is likely to remain a force in medical education in the future.
