Abstract

The end-Holocene boundary event that equals or exceeds the 8.2 k Event and the 4.2 k Event. The environmental markers of a change of this magnitude including enduring changes of atmospheric and oceanic chemistry, and climate. Widespread reorganization of ecosystems, accelerating rate of extinction. A qualitative transformation of all major Earth-surface systems.
