Zusammenfassung
Eine angemessene Raumakustik ist eine Notwendigkeit für die Musikaufführung. Eine gute Raumakustik unterstützt den direkten Klang von Musikinstrumenten und erleichtert das Ensemblespiel. Geometrischen und architektonischen Mindestanforderungen sind bekannt. Musikexperten, die mit vielen Konzertsälen vertraut sind, haben deren akustische Eigenschaften aus der Sicht der Ausführenden und des Publikums bewertet. Dieser intersubjektive Eindruck lässt sich bis zu einem gewissen Grad durch akustische Parameter erklären, die aus Raumimpulsantworten abgeleitet werden. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass die am besten bewerteten Konzertsäle den höchsten Grad an Räumlichkeit aufweisen. Räumliche Eindrücke, wie die Einhüllung des Hörers und die wahrgenommene Quellenausdehnung, korrelieren signifikant mit objektiven Parametern, wie dem Binaural Quality Index und der Lateral Energy Fraction. Viele kausale Zusammenhänge müssen jedoch noch gefunden werden.
