Abstract
Preliminary Explorations of the TSA Model’s validity are presented. These explorations include evidences regarding each one of the Model components (separately) relevant to the process of adjustment; evidences that support the general claim regarding the structure of the adjustment process, as suggested by the TSA Model; and evidence that TSA-based preventive interventions promote newcomers’ adjustment to their new county (i.e., immigration) and to their new job (as waiters). Yet, these evidences are suggested as a general support to the claim that the TSA Model deserves further empirical explorations and validation.

Notes
- 1.
The final version of the TSA, as presented earlier in this book (Chap. 6), incorporates components 2 and 4 as one component in which an understanding of the way that the situation is run and an understanding of one’s role within this situation are integrated into one component. This was done in light of the present study’s findings.
