Kreativitätsförderung in Open-Source-Projekten: Anwendung auf Open-Source-Medizinprodukte und Gesundheitstechnologien

Zusammenfassung

Kreativität befasst sich mit effizienter Problemlösung und ist tief in der Praxis und den Grundsätzen des Ingenieurwesens verwurzelt, da Ingenieure seit den Anfängen der technologischen Entwicklung mit komplexen Herausforderungen konfrontiert waren. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wurden Techniken zur Förderung der Kreativität gesucht und entwickelt, parallel zu einem fortschreitenden Prozess der Annäherung, um die grundlegenden Mechanismen des innovativen Denkens zu verstehen. Das Ziel ist es, unkonventionelle, effektive und effiziente Lösungen für komplexe Probleme zu finden. In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurde der Innovationszyklus in den Ingenieursbereichen, der mit der Entwicklung von Prozessen, Produkten und Systemen verbunden ist, durch die zunehmende Internationalisierung und das multidisziplinäre Umfeld in Projektteams in gewisser Weise neu formuliert und erfunden. Darüber hinaus stellen die sich abzeichnenden Open-Source-Ansätze für die Technologieentwicklung, die in vielen Fällen von der Mitgestaltung globaler, online interagierender Gemeinschaften profitieren, eine wichtige Triebkraft für den Wandel dar, die den Status quo in Frage stellt. All dies wirkt sich stark auf die Entwicklung, das Design, die Herstellung und den Einsatz von Open-Source-Medizintechnologien aus. Um Innovatoren im medizinischen Bereich zu unterstützen, beschreibt dieses Kapitel den Innovationszyklus, stellt einige allgemein anerkannte Techniken zur Förderung der Kreativität vor und veranschaulicht sie durch die Erläuterung verschiedener Fallstudien im Zusammenhang mit Projekten für medizinische Geräte. Die Potenziale von Open-Source- und kollaborativen Strategien für die Entwicklung innovativer Gesundheitstechnologien werden ebenfalls untersucht und anhand ausgewählter Entwicklungen der UBORA e-Infrastruktur und -Gemeinschaft veranschaulicht.
