Retina Lasers in Ophthalmology

Abstract

Laser photocoagulation of the retina is applied in a group of clinical entities very different in their etiology but sharing one most important characteristic: they present with areas of peripheral hypoperfusion. As the goals and the technique of treatment are alike in those cases, we decided to characterize them in one chapter.
