Abstract
They retrieved the skulls collected from the rich Bear Creek Pocket, returning to camp for an intense hailstorm with inch and a half hailstones. This severely damaged melons and other crops. Skull collection included Daphoenus (an ancient bear-dog) and Hoplophoneus (a large sabre-toothed tiger) in new areas north and east of Scenic.
