Abstract
The buccal region of the cheek has substantial laxity, and there are many options for flap repair. The main area of tissue recruitment is the jowl region. Transposition flaps allow for the reorientation of this laxity into the defect. A bilobe flap relies on there being sufficient skin between the defect and the ear.
