Abstract
When a medium to large surface area defect which requires a thin reconstruction is required, the radial forearm-free tissue flap (RFFF) is an ideal flap choice. When considering this flap, the patient’s non-dominant hand is most frequently selected. It is carefully examined to exclude evidence of previous injuries which might alter flap anatomy.
