Abstract
The subject of this paper is the calculation of welding costs of the lower pedestal central ring of the hydraulic excavator. Purpose, applications and the main parts and functions of the hydraulic excavator are described in this paper. The effects of major welding methods on the overall standards of time and the main welding costs of the central ring of the lower base of a hydraulic excavator are analyzed and based on the cost calculations of welding, optimal welding procedures are selected for described welds to achieve minimum time needed with the lowest welding cost.
