Abstract

The book concludes with a breakdown of the key features of performance fieldwork, which draws on the six chapters to identify phases of encounter, intervention and co-becoming: being performed by the field site, performing for the site, performance with or as the site. Concluding the book in this way brings the disparate case studies closer together by identifying commonalities and shared concerns, while also emphasising the adaptability of this approach in different contexts.
