Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel wird hervorgehoben, wie jüngste Ereignisse wie COVID-19 die zunehmende Unsicherheit in der heutigen Welt gezeigt haben. Klimawandel, Terrorismus, Gesundheitsprobleme und politische Instabilität haben alle zu Bedrohungen der Sicherheit in einem komplexen Umfeld beigetragen, in dem die Analyse auf einer „postnormalen Wissenschaft“ beruht. In einer Welt großer Ungewissheit sind Bedrohungen der Biosafety und der Biosecurity zu einer Herausforderung für die Unversehrtheit von Bevölkerungen geworden. Es liegt auf der Hand, dass der Aufbau von Widerstandsfähigkeit für die Zukunft wichtig sein wird.
Der Mann glaubt, dass er die Freiheit will. In Wirklichkeit hat er große Angst vor ihr, denn die Freiheit zwingt ihn, Entscheidungen zu treffen, und Entscheidungen sind mit Risiken verbunden.
